Firefox Search Toolbar
Firefox has a search toolbar that can be easily customized to include a wide variety of search engines, like Google, MSN and Yahoo! or commercial web sites that include search capabilities within their pages, such as IMDB, Ebay and Amazon. It is very easy to add any of your favorites, and to switch between those services. Firefox offers a recommended search engines page based on their popularity. Here are few good ones:
Recommended list of search engines for Firefox
- Google related search engines
- Yahoo related search engines
- MSN related search engines
- Wikipedia related search engines
- IMDB related search engines
Other search engines of interest for Firefox
- Get the Firefox extensions search plugin at the Computer - Mozilla page
- Get the Amazon search plugin at the Shopping - Books page
- Get the Ebay search plugin at the Ebay related search engines page
- Get a good dictionary search plugin at the Reference - Dictionaries page. I recommend dictionary.reference.com, personally, although Answers.com does a good job too, which is included by default with Firefox.
There are so many other search engines at MyCroft that you'll be sure to find something you want, even for the most obscure topic.
